Accommodation

University Hostels
The University's modern student hostels provide over 3,600 places for both Polish and international students. Most of the accommodation consists of two-bed or three-bed bedrooms in self-catering flats with bathroom facilities.

To apply for housing in student dormitories the applicants are required to meet two conditions: have permanent residency outside Toruń and a financial situation that justifies the need for housing. Applications for student housing in dormitories together with a certificate of family income should be submitted to the Dean's Office for Students Affairs. Due to a shortage of available housing, it is suggested that those in need of such housing should apply with their admission application papers for the first year of study at the Nicholas Copernicus University.

The costs of living at the hostels are divided between the student and the University; i.e. the students have to pay only 50% of such costs. At present, depending on the standard of a room the student's financial contribution is about 100-170 Polish zl.

Private Rented Accommodation
A part of our students live in University accommodation. If a student prefer private rented accommodation, the University cannot arrange this for him. There are special agencies assisting students in finding suitable accommodation. However, the costs of such accommodation are evidently higher.

Meals
Meals are served in two University's cantines; one of them is located on Bielany Campus closely to the Faculty. Hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks are served also throughout the day in the Faculty's bar.
