Academic Calendar

The academic year in Poland is divided into two semesters, each lasting 15 weeks. The winter semester starts on October 1 and lasts till the end of January the following year. The summer semester starts in mid February and lasts till the first week of June. Each semester ends with an examination session (2-3 weeks). A detailed timetable of the academic year is announced few weeks in advance.
