Research Topics: Main research interest is focused on surface analysis of the metallic nanometric layers obtained by Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD), using new volatile complexes of noble metals with fluorinated ligands and tertiary phosphines synthesised and characterised structurally, spectroscopically by research team - E. Sz³yk, P. Piszczek, I. Szymañska, I. £akomska, R. Kucharek; second research area coveres determinations of heavy metals, anions and additives in food and genetically modified food (E. Sz³yk, A. Jastrzêbska, M. Kurzawa, A. Szyd³owska-Czerniak); third research topic is oriented towards new analytical methods of pharmaceutically active compounds (synthetic and natural), determination with spectroscopic methods (B. Dembiñski, M. Kurzawa), as well as separation and analytical applications of the naturally occurring drugs (M. Kurzawa); synthesis, and structural characterisation of platinum group metal complexes with anticancer properties (E. Sz³yk, I. £akomska, L. Pazderski); structural and catalytical studies of transition metals complexes with optically active Schiff Bases derived from (1R,2R)-(-) cyclohexanediamine (E. Sz³yk, A. Surdykowski).
