Healthcare System
At the beginning of an academic year students must pay insurance. All the necessary formalities should be arranged at the Faculty administration.
All students, under 26, are insured in compliance with the universal insurance law, which means that they are not required to pay for basic healthcare service. Our University staff and students are taken care of by the Independent Group of Public Health Care Institutions. Most of the medical services, except some dental care, are free of charge.
The University accepts medical certificates issued either by public healthcare institutions or by private physicians, but requires confirmation from the Faculty physician.
Academic healthcare services can be obtained from the Academic Health Services on Bielany Campus - Gagarina Street 21.
The International Relations Office provides health insurance to all students coming to Poland in the framework of agreements so that they have free medical care. In all other cases students are advised to arrange the insurance with their own insurance agency before coming to Poland.
